The Greater Valley
Chamber of Commerce encourages its members to become involved in the
political process. Subjects
relevant to local business will be tracked by the Chamber and
reported in Business Matters, the Chamber's monthly publication, and
on this Website. For daily updates on pertinent legislation during
the session, check the Connecticut State General Assembly Website
www.cga.state.ct.us.
The Valley is fortunate to have a dedicated and experienced
delegation representing our interests in the Legislature. Yet, our
Senators and Representatives can not serve your interests unless
they hear your issues and concerns. Therefore, it is vital that
Chamber members contact their legislators regularly and make them
aware of how pending bill may positively or negatively effect
businesses and the economy in their district. We will continue to
provide you with numerous opportunities to make your voice heard,
especially during the Legislative session, at a variety of
legislative forums and other events.
Please remember what happens in Hartford has a direct impact on your
