William
E. Purcell, CCE, CAE, President
The face and voice of our Chamber members. When Bill is not out on the road working
with and for our members on a variety of issues, he can usually be found in the
office doing the same along with administering the Chamber’s operations. The Greater
Valley Chamber’s Economic Development Specialist, Bill is the staff liaison to the
Board of Directors.
Nancie
Gray, Vice President - Marketing & Special Events
Nancie edits and coordinates the Chamber’s written publications including BizLink
– our weekly enewsletter, and this website. She also administers and executes special
events and programs for the Chamber. Nancie is the staff liaison for the Leadership
Greater Valley, as well as Alliance Leads, Business Builders, WIN (Women in Networking),
the Marketing Council and the Young Emerging Professionals (YEP).
Laura
Gorman, Director of Membership and Services
Laura is responsible for the management and oversight of the membership recruitment,
development and retention processes as well as marketing event sponsorships. Laura
is also the Program Administrator for the Southern Connecticut Business Showcase
and is the staff liaison to the Ambassador Committee, Seeds to Leads Networking
Group, Valley Business Network and Healthcare Council.
Al
Patuzzi, Finance Director
Al began his career with the Chamber as a member and devoted volunteer, serving
on the Membership, Education and Programs Committees. He is our “money man” handling
the AP/AR/Payroll, as well as assisting with membership sales and special events.
Al is also responsible for the Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic.
